Twilight Drama and the Right Gear....

Bridges, city lights and reflections, one of my favorite photographic combinations! Everything looks magical at night. A sturdy tripod is essential for night photography. I use a Feisol 3442 carbon fiber tripod, which weighs 2.31 lbs and folds up fast for easy transport. I like to cover as much ground in the best light as possible, so it helps to have a tripod that's ready to move as quickly as I am. My camera bag is equally as portable, the F-Stop Gear Ando Bag. The Ando holds a laptop, iPad or in my case, the iPad mini, which I'm finding essential when traveling. The Ando bag is designed so you have easy access without having to set the camera bag down. My Nikon D800 fits inside, along with a few favorite lenses and optical filters for a little creativity and fun! I hope you can get out and shoot a little twilight drama this weekend! I'm covering twilight photography and more in my online course, Long Exposure Creativity at The course is full right now, but there will be openings in December and I hope to see you there!
