In Santorini, there is a beautiful village called Oia, located on top of a volcanic cliff, high above the Aegean Sea. Hundreds of people come for the view, yet it's well after sunset that village comes alive with light and color. Most people leave after sunset, and miss the show!
For this image, Tiffen Dfx Gold Diffusion/FX 4 from the HFX Diffusion category was added for a soft glow and overall golden tint. This creates a romantic and more glamourous look to the city at the edge of twilight. This filter effect works well with portraits, however it's very elegant with cityscapes too.
