Inspirations in Rome...

Piazza Navona, in Rome, Italy has the most lovely fountains in the world. The architecture is beautiful and one could get lost in photographing all the details! I spent a a good part a December photographing the beauty of Italy, I hope to go back one year in the summer or fall.

Simple adjustments and optimization with Nik Color Efex Pro, Tonal Contrast and White Neutralizer, easy and fast! Click here to visit the Nik website and use promotional code DSANDIDGE. I used Nikon 70-200mm lens to capture the scene, with the Nikon D3s.

One of my continuous inspirations is my Facebook and Google+ photography friend Erik Kirstenbeck! Erik has the most wonderful photos of Italy, concentrating on the Rome area. Take a look at Erik's website, and also his blog - click on the tag Italy. Erik is doing great work in the field of HDR, take a look!

Happy shooting!
