If you have an iPad, you will love this! Snapseed is a phenomenal application that allows you to edit your photos with your fingertips! Aside from simple, yet sophisticated tools that allow you to selectively adjust, crop, and straighten, there are tools for very cool and creative effects! I like to be artistic, so this is my favorite part... You can convert to black and white, add beautiful vintage effects, create drama, add a little grunge, center focus for a soft look, and add the perfect finishing touch with a fabulous frame! You could spend all day on the ipad, but editing is really quick and easy, and creative enhancements make it pure fun!
I spent an hour on a plane working with images to get the feel of Snapseed, and how it works with an image. What a great use of time, I can edit anywhere! There are multiple ways of working with an image. I decided to create a grunge look with this iconic view of the Space Needle in the photo above. This worked perfectly with an empty sky, allowing all the vintage colors and texture to shine through.
Another photograph that I enjoyed working with was this sailboat. Snapseed created the perfect vintage look with texture and grunge. I had great fun experimenting, and I can share the results with my friends on Facebook, and Flickr, or email, or print right from the app. Have fun working creatively with Snapseed!
