These tulips remind me of spring in fresh and cheerful pastel colors! I had fun photographing the flowers in a variety of ways. I worked with different lenses and creative effects, and ended up with this shot that was my favorite. It was taken through textured glass. Spectrum Glass makes a wide variety of art glass, www.spectrumglass.com. Shooting through glass creates a painterly look that is unique to your subject and the glass you choose to work with. A couple of my favorite textured glass types are Granite, Hammered, and Baroque... I admit to having quite a selection as I used to make stained glass windows years ago. I think that's why it's so attractive to me, the colors in the subject take on a stained-glass-window look that is quite beautiful! Have fun shooting! ~ Deb
PS...I've changed my blog to a lighter, brighter look, please let me know what you think!
